‘One Night in Tehran’ to compete at Loudoun Arts filmfest

The Loudoun Arts filmfest in the US is to feature ‘One Night in Tehran’.

The Loudoun Arts Film Festival (LAFF) in the US is set to showcase Iranian film ‘One Night in Tehran’.

Made by Farhad Najafi, the film will be present at the 2020 edition of the event with the Narrative Features tag.

It is about a 30-year-old girl who is looking for happiness in the chaos of this crazy, busy world.

She, unaware of how her life is going to change forever, takes a cab at night.

‘One Night in Tehran’ has recently competed at the 4th Rosarito International Film Festival in the US.

This edition of the LAFF will also present other Iranian titles that include ‘Exam’ by Sonia Haddad, ‘The Blue Bed’ by Alireza Kazemipour, ‘Serok’ by Zhivar Farajzadeh, and ‘Intense’ by Shirin Sabour.

The mission set for the LAFF is to showcase innovative and compelling films to entertain its audiences. To comply with COVID-19 restrictions, the 2020 edition of the fest was inaugurated virtually on August 27.

In light of social distancing protocols, Middleburg - a town in Loudoun County in the United States- hosts drive-in screenings on September 10-13 and 17-19.
